Choosing Your Baby's Doctor
Many parents-to-be have discovered it's a good idea to interview possible baby doctors before your baby is born. Our Pediatrician welcomes these appointments and does not charge for prenatal interviews. This is an opportunity to introduce parents to our practice, gather basic information, provide guidance, identify high risk situations, and promote parenting skills.
Vaccination Policy
Here at Advanced Kids Care, we firmly believe that all children and young adults should receive all of the recommended vaccines according to the schedule published by the American Academy of Pediatrics as well as the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Because we are committed to protecting the health of your children through vaccination, we require that all of our patients be vaccinated.

We encourage our current families with unvaccinated children to talk about immunization concerns with your provider and to begin the catch-up schedule for any required but missing vaccinations. Families who do not agree to schedule this catch-up immunization process will be asked to transfer to another healthcare practice and will not be accepted as new patients.

New Parents:
Keep your newborn protected. With a resurgence of pertussis it's important for parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles to get the Tdap booster shot.

Scheduling Your First Visit After Delivery
To schedule your first visit simply notify the hospital staff at the time of discharge. They may call to set up the appointment or you may do so if you feel more comfortable. Remember to bring your discharge documents with you as well and any documents regarding your newborn.
Don't forget to make sure your insurance company adds the baby to your policy within 30 days.
